Good game I guess but the weather really takes the momentum away from both teams. I find Ramiz’s comment hilarious, “if he is keeping then why is he keeping” lol. That comment killed me…poor Afridi started defending him and switched to Shoaib and Umar switch without any continuity haha. I saw a couple of funny things in this game. The one that I can remember is the celebration by Price who to me seems like a very exciting cricketer. The other was when Price almost threw the ball at YK and YK’s reaction was priceless.
Overall excited that we have made to QF but I have a feeling that from here on out he might be downhill unfortunately. Aus is certainly beatable but we wont be able to beat them if we play like we did today. Fielding was still jumpy, bowling was great but Razzaq is gonna get smashed and batting start was slow which needs to be taken care of. And btw, Shehzad should be replaced with Asad in a way where kamran and hafeez open and then Asad comes in at 3. Best of luck to Pakistan. Even if we lose to Aus its ok because we are moving on but if we win then the momentum will be with us just like NZ has for now. Hopefully we get to go up against Bangla (if they qualify) or Windies which seems highly possible looking at the table.
i miss postmatch younis khan
lol I agree. He is so hyper and the way he speaks English is better than most Pakistani players but they are just a bunch of words haha. I find this video hilarious:

hahaha.. watched that clip like 5 times — too funny..
“paaji gal ye hai ki nai khede janda tej — mainu tu das baara over chayide bowler na jaan pehchaan li”
ROFL
Absolutely priceless! All the best against Australia and in the quarters.
Im glad that you liked it lol. Thats the best line in the entire sketch lol yet its so true which makes it hilarious. I also like the end part where cash is preferred over check to buy stuff for the kids. That killed me.
Yeah Good Luck to Pakistan but its a uphill battle from here and I hope and I’m sure that they realize that.
P.S. Admin I have a feeling that external links might be against your policy. If that is the case, please feel free to remove it even though I think its great comedic relief given how much you miss YK’s post game interview
links result in the comment being automatically held in moderation until approved. unfortunate for genuine users like you, but the only way out to tackle the spammers who regularly are around. heck, they don’t even spare the facebook page with crap like “admin’s new site etc”. i got a mail the other day from someone who was on the verge of making a payment to a spammer who claimed to be associated with this site and into live streaming.
any external link that adds meaning to a post will be allowed here. unfortunately most of the time the only links added here are promotional ones. will try and work out a way where trusted users will never face any kind of moderation.
admin, you also need to give us the option to edit and delete our own posts….
will try over the next few days. it’s simpler with a forum where an option like that is always available. but will try
even though Pakistan won this game i was still disappointed with their batting performance… bowling was alright but the conditions actually helped Razzaq and also Zimbabwe were looking to defend against him… other teams play very aggressively against him and he gets smashed all the time…. i still disagree with Afridi of attacking/opening with spinners, its gonna be pak vs nz all over again!!! they should always open with Razzaq when the ball is still doing something and try to waste as many overs with Razzaq if he isnt getting smashed… this way you dont have to use him in the middle overs and in the end when batsmen are putting the foot down on the accelerator. i think he needs to bowl atleast 7 overs first up. the rest of our bowling should be fine against AUS maybe give saeed ajmal a chance….
Batting is a concern though… we need to be aggressive unlike this match… umar akmal’s attitude is a worry waqar said… i think he seems to be playing for his brother not for his team….
just read in cricinfo “The more cutting observation was for Umar, who was for the second time in his short career, the subject of speculation about faking an injury to support his elder brother Kamran. Umar didn’t play against Zimbabwe and when Waqar was asked about the reasons behind it, he smiled, waited and said, “He has two or three problems.” He pulled back immediately, clarifying that there was a finger injury as well as an ankle injury picked up during a football session, but the comment will only fuel talk that the team management is not happy with Umar’s attitude. ”
so umar akmal can only cost us a match not win it…. as for other batsmen hafeez is fine, shahzad is getting unlucky i think he is aggressive and he needs to be aggressive but just unlucky… maybe they need to try asad instead but i think he’s slow at scoring so put him at NO.3 instead of NO.2 and use kamran as an opener OR if they’re brave keep shehzad, replace kamran akmal with asad shafiq and tell umar akmal to keep wickets if he makes up excuses (of course for his brother) then show him the finger and replace him with junaid khan cos i heard asad shafiq is a pretty good keeper. so yeah batting is a huge problem including the akmal brothers… if we gonna defeat AUS then we have to bat aggressively and bowl smartly…
I cant reply to your comment admin but I appreciate it and yeah I dont know why half the desis try to scam fellow desis. Just sad.
Well done Pakistan! But the true test awaits next game…
