Good game but I dont think WI was really interested in winning given that they have already qualified for QF. They didnt play Gayle, Roach, or Chanderpaul. I’m thinking that they fancy their chances more against Pakistan than Australia. Hopefully the QF where both Pak and India will be playing in will be a lot of fun and I hope that both teams make it thru because I would love a Pak Vs Ind SF even though more likely the result will be negative for Pakistan.
hmmm good that India did not want to lose the game and try to avoid Australia. Well, Australia might be an intimidating opposition but if you want to win the World Cup you have to beat the best. Also, when teams try to be cute to avoid meeting certain teams it almost never works out for them. It would be great to have a crack at the Aussies!!Also if the Aussies have to win the World Cup they would have to beat some good teams in helpful conditions for them (i.e. helpful conditions for sub continent teams also South Africa seem to be more adept for such conditions at the moment)!!!!! Have a crack and have a good crack at Australia, even if you lose to them there is no shame in losing a knock out game to a good team like Australia, but for all my worth I would love to see India thrash the Australians!!!! (I know the opposite of that is also equally possible)
How well the Indian batsmen will fair against Lee, Tait Johnson and (if I am right Australia would also play Hastings probably at the cost of Smith against India) Watson has to seen. Well bowlers like Hastings and Watson are tricky to get away sometimes.
I would love to see India play with confidence, spirit and hostility against Australia, the result of the game would take care of itself. These are home conditions, there could and should be no excuses for a soft performance.
If they don’t beat Australia, well then……….. I would find a way to file a Public Interest Litigation against the IPL (just joking!!!)
I hope its a cracker of a game and wish for an Indian win!!!!!!!!! I won’t say I am desperate for India to beat Australia but very close to that!!!!!!!!!!! I would also love to see an India Pakistan clash!!! Lets hope that we get to see that!!!! It would be fun to watch the knock outs!!

Come on dude…India is literally all about hype right now…we just beat Aus and if we play like that I’m sure India will have a tough game to win. All their games except Ire and WI have been really close. If it comes to Mohali, it is as flat as it gets. We have to worry about WI first because Gayle playing the first 15 overs can take the game away so…one step at a time.
Windies’ scorecard could have been even worse if Devon Smith’s runout was reviewed.
