Watch England vs Bangladesh highlights – the Group B game from the 2011 World Cup played on March 11
Scoreline: England 225 all out – Morgan 63, Trott 67 | Razzak 10-2-32-2
Bangladesh win in 49 for the loss of 8 – Shafiul Islam 24 no, Mahmudullah 21 no, Imrul Kayes 60, Shakib 32, Tamim 38 | Shahzad 10-43-3, Swann 10-1-42-2

Eng: All offspinners dislike dew, and struggle.Disappointing therefore, as a Swann fan, to see him throwing tantrums despite bowling well whenever he had dew out of his mind. Even in the game vs India after being taken for runs he seemed to fade out of the game and spent the rest of it courting fielding mishaps.

B’desh: Just thinking of those Bangladesh fans who left before the end. I’ve known guys who’ve similarly left after Indian batting collapses only to find themselves stuck in parking and driven nuts while the stadium erupted in cheers.

  1. James Bond says:

Wow, England are lucky to still be in the world cup right now. Narrow win against Netherlands, tie against India, losses against Bangladesh and Ireland.
Have no idea why Collingwood is in the team. Can’t seem to remember when he last made a 50. Need to drop him and get Luke Wright or Tredwell in.

  2. India might have done Bangladesh in by conceding a point to England!! (not on purpose ofcourse)

Well still Bangladesh should try and beat Holland and hope that West Indies would clean up England!!!

With due regards to Bangladesh, the teams from the other pool would be licking their lips with a prospect of meeting Bangladesh in the Quarterfinals!!!

For England even if they get through, I guess New Zealand is the only opposition which they might fancy their chances against from the oher pool which they won’t get to play because they would be at the bottom of the table out of the four qualifying teams. Sad for England after their great show during the Ashes!!!

Lol as a Pakistani fan, they might have a chance against us because given how our bad days go Bangladesh are fully capable of winning. Also like admin said a lot of stuff depends on other teams if they will or won’t qualify. Alaigh they need to beat SA which is a more daunting task than beating England since they lost Pietersen and Broad.

  3. Parikram says:

After watching this match n the passion shown by the BD’s ive really become a fan of the BD cricket. After India I really hope BD wins the cup.
Hey admin, as many have said u r doing a grt job. Thanks n keep up the good work. I’m loving this site even more cause this video is now supporting IPhone as well so I can watch highlights from anywhere now. This was the reason I did not buy iPad as well, but now may b I will. Thanks once again admin.

  4. Roys_Rock says:

Bangladesh showed some real character after losing terribly to West Indies. This was an amazing bounce back and showing the world that they are a cricket power not to be ignored.

Considering the English attitude and their display of disrespect throughout the match (in fact throughout the tournament especially against weaker opponents), I think it is fair to state that justice has been served.

  5. Well done Bangladesh – played with character & determination which was lacking in England’s game.
